The rich, dark color of this wine catches you from the first pour. It exhibits a rich deep burgundy hue with perfect clarity. The aromas are a compendium of zesty black cherries, cola, and toasty cocoa. The first initial sip fills the mouth with sweet anise, black boysenberry, cherry, anise, molasses, and baked blackberry pie, while maintaining absolute dryness and firm, round, yet supple, tannins. This delicious rich, full, mouth filling Cabernet is ready to drink now and will continue to age gracefully for the next 6 to 8 years.

The vibrant color and aromas of fresh picked white peaches, ripe melon, and yellow apples instantly fill your senses and are complemented by hints of light vanilla. The mouth fills with complex flavors of sweet, rich, red and yellow apples, bosch pears, fresh picked peaches and juicy sweet honeydew melons. Soft hints of butter and vanilla round out the wine to produce a very seductive, lingering finish.

Rosé

Les Deux Moulins, Loir Valley, France (2021)

The grapes used to make this wine are picked early and directly pressed. They were fermented and aged in stainless steel. The result is this dry Loire Valley rosé that is crisp, fresh, and fruity, marked by floral-driven notes of grapefruit, ripe stone fruit and crushed rocks. The Deux Moulins rosé is over 75% Grolleau, the traditional grape used for rosé in the Loire Valley. Gamay and Cabernet Franc are blended in to add complexity. This rosé is very light, easy to drink, and refreshing.

The Vermonter is a dry, gin botanical cider made by slowly fermenting apples and adding juniper essence. With its piney nose, the juniper berry is the unifying ingredient in the production of gin, and when these woody yet floral berry notes are added to cider, the resulting beverage could easily pass for a sparkling cocktail.
